Cees Blankestijn: DFW Europe Remains DFW Europe

Following the transfer of shares to DELA, Cees Blankestijn has taken the scepter at DFW Europe as of May 1st. Cees is a vital and energetic man in his sixties, full of enthusiasm. He’s a positive individual who sees more opportunities than obstacles. With a background in electrical engineering, he studied Technical Business Administration, held various commercial roles, and also ran his own electrical installation company for a period. The move to DFW Europe completes his career path.

What attracts him to DFW Europe is above all the dynamism of the company. The technical know-how, the ingenuity involved. The electric cremator, a crown jewel that has put DFW Europe on the global map. He finds the innovation and new ideas particularly appealing and is excited to contribute. He is also drawn to the size of the company, which allows him, as the person ultimately responsible, to stay close to the action and remain hands-on.

Cees envisions three phases for the coming period: First, internally. He wants to fully understand what’s going on within the company and get to know the people behind DFW Europe well. Next, he will reach out to existing partners to hear and see what’s going well and what could be improved. After that, he will explore new contacts and opportunities. He places great importance on ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders experience consistent quality and service from DFW Europe.
